This Satsang is a program that tells how to bless human life, how to get power beyond human life, and how to achieve a perfect life in all ways.
Aranye nirjale dese sambhavedbrahmrakshasa: Shlokam 183, Chapter 2, Sri Guru Gita
The Fate of Arrogance Toward the Guru
In the Sannidhana of Sri Gurudev, whoever utters vile demonic words out of anger, speaks in such a haughty way, or acts arrogantly with Sadhguru — such a man or woman must be born as a Brahmarakshasa in the great forest where no water is available.
Whenever a person is against God, Science, Guru, Truth, Goodness, and Humanity, they should realize that they are Brahmarakshasa.
Desire, Need, Opportunity and Goal
- Your desires teach you to understand the other person.
- Your needs teach you to understand the world.
- Your opportunities will teach you to understand society.
- If you set a goal, you will understand nature.
Truths of Effort and Perception
Defeat is shameful when you see an honest opponent. If you don’t drink a lot of fresh water, your reasoning power, decision-making power, speaking power, and thinking power will decrease. If you climb a mountain, you will know the depth of a person. A self-dismissing witness is called “love”.
The Gift of Solitude and Silence
If you practice meditation in solitude, you will know clearly what you are and what you are not. Solitude is the cradle of God’s consciousness. Silence answers you when you don’t understand something.
Solitude will answer you. Silence will understand you. Silence gives you a feeling. Solitude gives you clarity.
Patience, Belief and the Life That Lives
If you practice with patience, there is no god beyond you. A believer does not get tired. The believer will be exhausted. The pretender gets tired. He who lives does not tire.
Living as an Instrument of God
God gave you hands not to ask, but to spread awareness! Live with arms outstretched, live with awareness! Be an instrument of God. Then your life will be blessed.
The Five Weaknesses and Five Strengths of the Soul
The Panchatattvas which weaken the soul are five:
- Looting
- Stealing
- Cheating
- Believing
- Destruction
The Panchatattvas which strengthen the soul are five:
- Favoring the virtuous
- Favoring the humane
- Being favorable to the Guru
- Being friendly with nature
- Being kind to yourself
The Guru’s Path
The food of death is called “Maya.” The food of God is called “Bhakti.” One who travels towards the Guru becomes a real Guru. One who travels against the Guru becomes a karmic being.
This teaching echoes the same reverence for the Guru found in Guru Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 127, and the surrender described in Thursday Satsang, 08-01-2015 — both pointing to the same simple truth: a life turned towards the Guru is a life turned towards God.
