The Mother’s day on 12th May was grandly celebrated by devotees by prayers and rituals to our universal Mother Jai mahaojmatha. The Celebrations were the token of love to our universal mother Mahaojomaatha, we hail her with the slogan “Jai Mahaojomatha Dhi”. Devotees grandly celebrated to show their love and gratitude to Mahaojomatha. Devotees shared the magical experience they experienced during celebrations. Jaimahaojomatha is the mother of all mothers, a symbol of pure love. The festival is dedicated to honoring motherhood and the divine feminine energy.

 Offerings to Vanamaatha

As part of the festivities, a beautifully adorned kalash was prominently placed in front of the Vanamaatha (Shaktipeetam). Devotees offered a wide array of items including sarees, blouses, bangles, flower braids, and ornamental decorations. Alongside these offerings, fruits, flowers, and sweets were presented as symbols of devotion and gratitude.

 Cake-Cutting Ceremony

In the evening, the celebrations continued with a joyous cake-cutting ceremony, bringing smiles and laughter to all present. This communal event fostered a sense of unity and togetherness among the devotees.

Spiritual Practices

Following the festivities, a spiritual ambiance enveloped the fields as devotees engaged in traditional practices. They immersed themselves in the wisdom of the Dharma Shastra Granth, reading passages that spoke of righteousness and spiritual enlightenment. Harati, a ritual of waving lamps in front of the deity, was performed with fervor as devotees chanted the Ojomatha Mantra, seeking her blessings.
